Ok, I thought I would just let people know about my attempts at skilling up on the Shivs (yes, the real name is Mistletoe Cutting Sickles), but Shivs sounds so much better.
My stats:
65th Ogre Warrior.
Blacksmithing 212
STR 280
+10% blacksmithing Massive Girdle of the Forge
I did roughly 93 attempts (+/- one or so).
Results:
1 skill bump on around attempt 35.
24 shivs successfully made.
So, the successes were not too bad. about 1 in 4. But the skill bumps are teh suk.
Ok, back to farming shadowscream. bleh.
