Was trying to find out more of what materials in Cazic Thule might yield that led me on a little bit of a wild goose chase.
One of the items that drops in Cazic Thule is Spanner's diary or notebook or something. This diary gives all the weapon recipies for Cazic Thule materials (Tae Ew 2 handed sword is one of these, can usually see them in the bazaar). Remembering the npc's resting outside of Cazic Thule I checked them out in case there was some recipie or quest someone hadn't figured out I might stumble across (or someone is closed mouth about). I was delighted to see Spanner was one of these people and questioned him, maybe he would be happy to have his diary back if I could guess the correct phrase? (he won't take his diary back)
Well going through four responses from him (I don't think I tried asking about the black mucous last time I tried this right after Cazic Thule revamp hit live servers) and the last one talks about if I hear of a new set of spiffy gnome sized garments to replace his ruined ones to let him know. I wasn't able to get any more out of him to find out what specific clothes he wanted so I tried giving him a bunch of small cloth cothes in different combinations and got them all returned to me. Any one know more about this?
