Frostfell - Fishing for a Feast

I have some problems with this xmas task. Talking to Hargar the Velium Chef I do get Hargar's Fishing Notes (= the list of fish to catch) but I do not the the actual quest (in my quest journal). I even tried to went ahead and I am able to catch some of the rare fish but I don't get quest quest updates (lacking the quest) and I can't hand them to Hargar (lacking the quest). Can someone help me out here?
