I have definitely disabled the upper picture you have. It will not work there.

the other picture looks like the right thing. just be sure that you hug the spinning wheels after you have cleared NPC's from that area you have in yellow. (or a similar box around each)

I've tried two areas. First was here in the far, far, NE corner.

Is this even possible to combine here? Not that it matters since I can't clear the full room. Although if it is, I could try and get another group to help clear as at least it is easy to pull the room.

So, I moved to where I suspect it's meant and has been talked about.

Again, no way to clear the room because of density and splitting time. I assumed you need to clear one of the four "rooms", for example the one in the yellow box. Then I thought maybe I only had to kill the operators at one panel (for example the red box) and some mobs around the generator and within 50 units of where I could stand. That didn't work.

So, any advice would be appreciated.
Okay, So I am doing this a 2nd time on a 2nd toon.... I am to the combine part and I have tried clearing all 7 rooms tried it in EACH ROOM with the room clear and its saying I have too much activity.... Anyone got a hint or is this broken or should I just peition?

    Eighth Quest

I am still in favor of adding an eighth quest to the series.

For example, add a drop from Meldrath, such as a powered orb, that combined with Eron's Jewelry to become a Powered Eron's Jewelry with raid level stats. It could be a no-fail tinkering combine with a quested, dropped, or gnome made tinkered device.

The idea being to give the quest series utility to raiders as well as keeping the quest useful for groupers 1 or 2 expansions from now.

    Opinions?

I am not sure how many recipes you have scribed but the act of scribing will destroy the document. In short, if you are hitting the delete button to get rid of a recipe scroll/book/whatever, you have not scribed it.

Although I agree with you on most items scribed, lately I have seen some that do NOT destroy once scribed. The only thing that happens with these is the 'scribe' button disappears.

Best camp is at the base of the ramp from the adventurers area - that is where the named spawns, and he drops it all the time.

I thought I scribed it before I destroyed it, but I guess I missed it. The trouble is, once you destory it, you can't get it back without a petition and all that involves.

My suggestion is to simply add an instruction in the list of quest requirements to require scribing this recipe (and any others in the task line).

I am not certain but I thought the only time it pulled up the recipes lists to see what you have scribed is when you open a specific container for the tradeskill. Wouldn't be too difficult though. However, losing the note that you need to scribe the recipe I would attribute to the same issue of having been given a quest item you need to hand in to an NPC and deleting it then expecting to be able to complete the quest.

Unfortunately there is no "trigger" to make it a required step. Everything in the list requires a trigger of some sort. I can add it to the text instructions (that very few people read) if it is not there...
