Not sure if this has been posted, but the information on the site regarding the faction needed for the quest is wrong (well, it was for me, a human cleric.)
You need more than just positive faction with the Frogloks of Guk to do the quest. You need either warmly or ally faction.
I tried every step up from indifferent, and the Old Froglok only Frrroooaaakkk'd me when I was warmly.
