The "Max Skill +5%" thread got locked. Rereading my response, I have to agree that it was not necessary. I meant to point out that the FAQ forum was a great tradeskill information resource for questions like that, but my brief note gave a completely different impression. I'm sorry.

Some people recommend that you may as well stop attempting to increase your tradeskill level at 240 because if you equip a Geerlok: 240 + 5% = 252
