I remember seeing a graph once (between 1 and 2 years ago) that showed someone's findings on the chance of skill-up against prime stats (Int/wis etc.)
Does anyone know where I can find this again, or have any similar data ?
I know that there is not really enough data (reliable, verifiable and with out other factors interfearing) to draw full conclusions, but I would find it useful to see what there is out there. Even just knowing the order of magnitude of effect would be good. I seem to remember that the difference between say 75 Int and 100 Int was huge (like twice as many skill-ups) but that the effect tails off significantly at the high end (e.g the difference between 225 and 250 Int is minimal)
I know that more is always better, but where do diminishing returns stop you buying that 10kpp +10 Int item ?
Cheers,
Jarak.
