I keep finding myself amazed that in each separate special tradeskill forum here, folks are in such a hurry to skill up to 300 that they are relying on all the old expensive recipes, and blowing a lot of plat doing so.
Pay attention to the DoN Submissions forum folks. There are some VERY inexpensive alternatives out there involving drops and forages from the new DoN zones. These things are stackable, and vendorable, and with patience, will prove priceless... as will the results of the combines.
My only worry is how many people might sell these drops and forages to the vendors in their own personal Guild Halls, effectively taking them out of circulation for the rest of us. Not a real problem for those who bought the expansion and can go to DoN zones themselves, but could be a headache for those who didn't, unless they rely on their friends and guildmates to save everything they can get their hands on, or play on a server where the main goal of traders is not to rip them off.
Anyway, like I said... PAY ATTENTION TO THE DON SUBMISSIONS FORUM. There are some wonderful things out there.
