Plane of Fire Bow?

Has anyone heard if Sean finished the bow from PoF?

As far as I know, it has not been made yet. The bow staff is still MIA... Just PM Sean, he always replies. =)

Yeah, I know Sean would post if he finished, but I needed some sort of valid thread or reply so I could test the new boards. Plus several other guilds have now moved onto the Elemental Planes and there is the offchance one of them is working on em too.

No, I have not finished it. Unfortunately, one patch they took away my guild's Plane of Fire flags that we got from killing Solusek. Then, at the same time, they changed it so you had to kill Rallos to port into Solusek's chamber regardless of all the flags we had to port into it. So the only guild currently in an Elemental Plane is Afterlife. We do still have some wizards and necros bound in Plane of Fire who farm components, but they haven't found the Guts of Fiends for the String yet or the Obsidianwood for the Shaft.

Now, I don't have very high hopes for the bow - as you can see by the garbage that Lith made from the Plane of Water. I was told these bows were going to be very, very good. Sadly, for the effort, they're a waste of time and no one who can get into the Elemental Planes will ever use them. I also had high hopes, because an item made from an Elemental Mold turned out to be a 160 hp helm - something that would be well worth the effort. I can only hope the rest of the tradeskill items in the Elemental Planes are good, and the bows were just a mistake, as it is harder to get inside them than it was to get inside VT with the very first version of the Emperor (something only 3? guilds in EQ pulled off before they downgraded him to make him more killable).
