I once posted this issue some time ago. The thread got closed due to the potential volatility involved.
I am posting this issue once more, not to create a flame war on these boards, but to make fletchers aware of a Ranger class issue which may affect them.
The issue of "adjusting" Elemental Bows is now being considered by Sony as can be seen here.
It is under section 3: Archery Improvements.
As opposed to last time where this thread became the forum of vociferous debate, I ask this time that Fletchers should they feel this issue affect them, take the discussion to the Sony Boards where they can be seen by Sony itself.
My apologies to the Den-Mother and the House-Ogre should you view this thread as inflammatory. Under no circumstances is it meant to be that way.
Edit: SOE has updated the list with the following statement:
Change elemental bows so they are either no-drop or not wieldable without the appropriate flags (No changes planned at this time)
I am unable to delete my post so feel free to, if a Mod feels it appropriate.
