The XIV potions are now available on NPC vendors for a cost of 89 plat each, which is exactly the cost of a level XIII potion. With the cost of the CRD going for about 200 plat each on my server and the trivial being set so high, there's no reason to make these that I can see

There are other options than just the bazaar. You can always farm it yourself or have friends and guilds give them (or sell them cheap to you).

Distillates - Question on Failure Rates

The Level XIV distillates which are vendor sold are still selling for the same amount as they were and that amount is identical to the amount charged for the Level XIII potions.

I have been poking around trying to make the 81-85 potions. I appreciate this post as it took a lot of the guess work out of what I was trying. I have been looking at the boards before I posted but is there a haste potion beyond X? I have been trying varrious combos and none are working.
