• @#$% racists NPCs

Was happily cooking the other night in JP when I finally ran out of meat. So I stock up on cheese and head back to SH to bang out the last dozen or so skill points.

I've got my trader amulet and I even ran the three faction quests several times to get myself up to amiable with the general population of SH. Unfortunately, those @#$% short folks are just plain racist - not only do they design thier doors to make it impossible for those of us who are exceptionally tall and wide to even get into thier shops, but they still refused to do business with me.

I logged a complaint with the head trader, but seeing as how those darned vertically challenged folks are union, they can't do anything about it. So I got stuck running erands for the dwarf, the barbarian and thier two employees until the @#$% merchant finally got tired of laughing at me and deamed my plat WORTHY enough to buy his @#$% bread (and the SOB still over charged me and short changed me whenever I sold anything to him).

This is very racist and discriminatory and the city of Shadow Haven can rest assured that I WILL report this to the NAATP (Norath Association for the Advancement of Trollish People) - the claims that Shadow Haven is a species blind city are false.

Citizens of Shadow Haven be warned - change your ways or the NAATP will boycot your city and eat you all.
    Cigarskunk!
No more EQ for me till they fix the crash bug.

            SHORT FOLK UNITE!

Serves you "altitude enchanced" people right!

Do you know how many times I've been sat on, tripped over, stuffed into a backpack, mistaken for a large rat, had to form a mountaineering party to climb a flight of stairs, fallen into an ale mug (not complaining too much there), and fallen between the boards of some rickety rafts?

Sheesh, you'd think the whole world was created by giants! No respect for us little guys!

It's all you tall and lanky barbarians running the place... with your women in skirts... and... umm...

            Maybe life isn't so bad.

Heh, because of more than trolls.

She needs someone's shoulders to ride on while shopping in the Bazaar.

Ogres look funny while laughing from being tickled.

Message Board Trolls need someone to protect them from HER. <g>

I could say the same thing about the darn tall people. Have done the quest 5 or 6 times running back and forth from bazaar to shadowhaven to fungus grove.. and those darn humans starting from the trade commissioner back to the casters guild still hated me. It works with the amulet, but my normal faction without it is still dubious. Just something else to take up my darn inventory. =/ I'll stick to my short people area.

The Stout area likes you because you are...well.... Stout.

The Traders of the Haven like you because you are their lackey.

Fordel and Midst have no readson to like you, other then the amulet. Fordel is the ones you are complaining about now.

Run the "Register for trading"/amulet quest about 5-10 times.

And never worry about any SH faction ever again.

But there lies the point of this scream - even with the trader necklace the @#$% mobile snacks still refused to do business with me.

All I've got to say is that it's a darned good thing that halfling and dwarf were trivial at that point.

Yup - I had no choice but to double check since I also own a Split Paw necklace - have to make sure that I grab the right one before dealing with folks in SH.

As for playing an Iksar - trust me, as a troll SK, I'm only slightly better liked than you are.
