Seems to be an old new but I only noticed that you could use ascii advanced caracter table in the chat window. The only problem I had was using them wipe out the friend list, even if the names are still on the ini file. Anybody solved this problem?
If you dont know how to use them, here is a little walkthrough from Denlorx :
"Step 1 - Open up Notepad
Step 2 - Open up your charname_**.ini file in your everquest directory.
Step 3 - Scroll down until you find a hotkey you can edit. It will look like this
Page1Button1Name=Something
Page1Button1Color=0
Page1Button1Line1=SomethingElse
Step 4 - Change it so that it reads what you want it to.
Example
Page1Button1Name=Cool
Page1Button1Color=13
Page1Button1Line1= Bards Are Cool
Step 5 - Place the cursor where you want the ASCII characters to go. Holding down the ALT key you press numbers on the numpad. 1,3 is a musical note, as well as 1,4.(ie: Hold down ALT, press and release 1, press and release 3, THEN release ALT) This will make a musical note appear. From what I've seen it HAS to be the numpad.
Step 6 - Save the file. Make sure you save the file as a UTF-8 File type when you go into "Save As." If you don't know how to do this... too bad. =p
If you are still playing reload your UI and it will appear in your hotkey list.
Good luck."
