The new board looks nice. I have a suggestion...

Could you change the icon for "no new messages" to something more distinct from "new messages for you to read"? Personally, I prefer no icon at all if there's nothing new to read. It makes it easier to quickly scan the 2-dozen forums to see if there's anything I need to read.

Also, is there any way to go to the top level of all forums after marking all messages read? It saves a page load.

As for getting back to the top level after marking all messages read, look at the top left of the page that you reach after you actually do mark all messages read. In addition to the link that is offered in the middle of the page, there is one on the top left that you can hit to get back to the list of forums.

We will look into it. It may take some time.

There also seems to be some flaking with the read and unread anyway. The Dev's are trying to fix it
