  • Just plain Grrrrrr..

Ok, to start with, I work 2 full time jobs, for 70hrs a week, m-f 40 hrs, f-s 30hrs. I don't get a lot of play time anymore because of this. And sometimes I do things that I think are ok and helpful, but are not viewed as such (fuzzy logic? lol)

So, last night I get on and decide that I am finally going to get my Seb key. Get to Trak, see a hunter on tracking and hunt it down. It is engaged by a bard. I don't know much about bards, except that they have a nice mana regen song. So, I thought I would be helpful and throw on a few DoTs. Long and short, the hunter started running away, and instead of snaring it, I rooted it. Poof, it died, corpse dissapears
Then someone says "That's what you get for trying to KS". I turn and see the person, had not seen them before, and figured that they were grouped as they were in the same guild. I tried to explain that I was trying to help, not KS. Moral: never help take down a mob without asking.
I did get my seb key, though.

No one on from my guild, and I didn't want to try to get a pick-up in Seb, I went to CS to quad some wyverns for tailoring. Did 3 quads, and 2 root rot. 14 wyverns dead, 1 hide

Then on tracking, the dragon is up. Cool, never saw it before. A bunch of people started showing up. I got invited into the raid. Got it pulled. Comes in, 2 people die, but he goes down. Yay. But then, those faction hits. Ouch. On top of that, the only thing that dropped was the stupid spine for rogues.

All in all, it was not really a great night. Maybe I should just stick to work and give up EQ. Yuck!!

Not always up, and like most named in CS, on CoV faction. Apparently on Yelinak faction too.

He looks exactly like Faydedar, the druid epic dragon. Big, stupid ugly fish (who does not see invis, as I learned when he walked over me one day while I was medding).

He's fairly wussy and can drop some nice toys (good lvl 60 spells, Cloak of Swirling Waters? Crystalline Waters? or something like that - droppable, clickable melee haste, sea dragon meat for the otter wis totem quest). Sucks when he drops crap.

        *edit*
        Crystalline waters sounds closer...

In the number of times ive been on 1-group kills of Kelly (im usually both puller and tank) hes never dropped the meat. *sigh*

Often drops jusk daggers, and sometimes drops the 36% haste cloak or the inventory-clickable Blinding Liminance (blind) item that monks love for splitting.
