Why cant we put these in range and throw them?

Only if you could pop a fishing pole in your ranged slot and make a sling/flail of sorts, whip the pole around your head and down and make the fish (preferably fetid bass of 20# or greater, WHAM! that'd hurt) fly off the hook spinning fins over tail, else a fish would have range 5 or some other ludicrous figure. Then if THAT worked, the gnomes would petition to have their catapults work again in similar fashion, while we'd seek the recipes for smithed/tinkered pole haste tackleboxes, and rangers would be jealous that we'd be able to use fishing grubs as ammo where they no longer can. . . .In short, it'd be more trouble than it's worth, despite the taunt factor of "You were bludgeoned by a flying fish. You were hit by non-melee for 4 points of damage". . .oh dear ANOTHER crisis. Just make them into regular 1hb blunt weapons, taunt +2%, some abysmal ratio. "A Valorian Discus crushes YOU for 4 points of damage"!

Fishyaura!

Clicky oneuse onna neato norent fish you gotta go to some REALLY REALLY hazardous place to fish, kinda like fists of shadow or whatever those weird things are from shadowmen. Is a damageshield for a little teeny tiny bit an' cause it's an aura it won't stack with any other auras, no banshee aura, no grim aura, an' NO WAY sympathetic aura.
