Coffee?

for RP reasons, I am curious if there is anyway to brew coffee in game, I know you can make tea, but a nice strong espresso would be really nice.

I want them to implement soda pop in the game.

Recipies could be:

Orange Soda
2 Emerald Orange
1 Soda Water
1 Water Flask

Berry Soda
2 Foraged Berries
1 Soda Water
1 Water Flask

Root Beer (I think they have a similar recipie in game already, but no fizz )
2 Foraged Roots
1 Soda Water
1 Water Flask

I like the soda ideas, but why, if I may ask, do you have soda water and water listed in your ideas? Wouldn't soda water alone be sufficient?

Hehe, I guess Soda Water would be applicable on its own. I was just thinking that for the volume of 2 oranges/berries/whatever you would need more than just one volume of water.

It could be 2 forages and 2 soda waters or what have you

Now that I think of it, they would really need to have a cork and a bottle, too. Otherwise, they would lose their fizz.

Coffee beans could be a lovely new forage. Found in, say, DSP or FM.

For some people, water flask + milk (or cream) + sugar

Course...being a hot drink, maybe it would have to be combined in an oven? Interesting thought.

Espresso Machines should definitely be tinkered, perhaps requiring a component purchased only in Erudin. Coffee beans would be foraged in Toxxulia, and maybe Kerra Ridge. The recipe would be given by a gnome in Erudin, who was hired on to make the machines for the culturally-advanced yet technologically-backward (by gnome standards) Erudites.

Coffee could be made with a pot and water flask. Grinding beans could be done in a mortar & pestle (espresso would require a coffee grinder). Perhaps foraged in Rathe Mountains, as well as Toxxulia.

Coffee is the one thing I've been waiting for in game. That, and Orange Juice, which we have now, but still no screwdrivers =/

First off, coffee is the lifeblood of teh world, and coffee brownies are **** good too (just add coffee grounds to brownie mix). Second, a brewed coffee would be great, but would serve as "play EQ more" incentive And on why soda needs water...well, pure coke syrup (ie the sugar part, so berries and water) is so acidic that it can be used to clean an engie block. If you dont hink it can, get your hands on some. Leave it on the grease for a few hours, come back its clean. Harmless to the skin because it's merely citric acid in a strong variant, and the skin has no issue with citric acid. However, carbonated water is added in RL (soda water) to dilute, carbonate, and make it even more unhealthy to drink. Soo, perhpas a two step drink.

Flavor element + sugar type element + water + bottle in spit = soda syrup
Soda syrup + soda water+ bottle in brew barrel = yield 2 xxxxx Soda.
