Finally felt I could justify spending 18 AA to max out all my tradeskills :) I have been a big fan of this site for along time. Just never posted anything. Finally felt I should give a little back. Just hoping this can give people insight in what to expect.

I have been working tradeskills since way back in the day that I could sell Banded Armor in Qeynos for 1pp per AC.

Only have Tailoring (already 239 without any stats on it) and smithing (at 200 and will provide stats) to go till 1750! A few more weeks to go.

Bah, looks like im just cronically unlucky in pottery, since 200 skill i had around 1 skillup pr 40 combines. Did planar steins, opal steins, a few crusible of escape, then done the star rose quartz idols till 228, gonna see how many of those i have to make to get to 248.

Bah....just trying to get from 184 to 189 using casserole dishes took me over 480 combines with 330 int and 280 dex.....four of the five skillups required over 100 attempts per (the worst being over 150)

Definitely the worst streak I have every heard of.....

I am one of the unlucky ones also, it seems. Been averaging MAYBE 1 skillup in 40 combines (280 WIS), just finished a set of 160 combines with 0 skillups. I expected this when I was GMing tailoring, but I didn't think Pottery was this bad.

Ah well, Sony will regret their decision to make tradeskills so difficult when we all file a class action suit against them for our carpal tunnel syndromes... :P
