136 combines....199-200:(...update 250!!!

Is this common?....I didnt encounter this with any other skill.
doing opal steins....and lord knows its expensive enough and they dont sell well....any suggestions welcomed.

Generally, if you can get from 190-210 in any tradeskill WITHOUT encountering a 100+ combine point, you are lucky...

I'd say common...

I went 73 combines from 199 to 200, then 96 (ouch) from 200 to 201.

I'm 25 into 201 so far, with a Wis of 255 throughout.

I'm too scared to carry on at this rate ! :(

My worst levels were:

213 to 214: 83 comines (Planar Steins)
222 to 223: 180 Combines (Star Rose Idol)
243 to 244: 87 Combines (Star Rose Idol)

I got up to 188 with vials. Good. Then I thought I'd do casserole dishes.

I averaged about 1 skill up / 100 combines with dishes. Ugh. Moved up to 193.

Then I tried Planar Steins. Averaged a skill up in about 10 combines. Way better. I tried at one point 100 opal steins because I had ran out of tainted essences. 1 skill up.

Went up to 216 on planar, back to opal steins. Better than it was, but still slower than planar steins. About 1 in 40 combines.

Either I was very lucky on planar steins, or unlucky on opal steins ;)

i went 211 combines from 199 to 202 most of them from 199-200. The skillups in pottery are the worse ive seen of any tradeskill (im gm brewer-baker-smith-jeweler.) I remember when you could do 1-188 in like 2 hours.
Some say theres a very hard point from 199-221 after that it seems to be easier, but ill let you know when i get there.
But it has been one suffering after another just getting points and im only at 204 now and I dont even want to do another set of combines.
