skill 42, what now?

i hunt HGs in Rathe mountains alot. I get alot of Fine Steel weapons, if i start converting them in the forge, what should i do to them, to most effectivly increase my skill from 42?

combine the blocks and make rings out of them?

I got my smithing up to 116 in a day by making a file, then file+chunk of condensed shadow+water= (2) Condensed Shadow arrowheads. The trivial on this is 116. All the components and results stack. You can buy the condensed shadow from players in the bazaar for 1-5pp each, or if you get lucky, from the merchants near Shadeweavers for a few gold each, or farm em yourself for free. Save the HQ ore you get from the fine steel weapons meltdown for Ornate chain (see the main website) that trivials at 155 for the Gold-Ornate Mail. GL.

Yep, condensed XXX arrow heads is the cheapest way to go. I got condensed shadow from farming the little black guys in Shadeweavers. There can be a lot of them in the caves if you follow the fork in the path from Shar Vahl to the right.
