I have my entire guild feeding me hero parts to skill up and make sandwichs and I'm stuck at 205 baking after over 300 combines. I feel like I'm wasting all that nice meat.

have you tried the wicked halas meat pies to get out of 205? they can take you to 226. or if you don't like Halas meat pies there's Holy Cakes, or there's also Griffon/Anaconda Meat and plant shoots to be found in Jagged Pine. *searches memory* I think Holy cakes triv at 240ish and the griffon/anaconda melts are over 250.

thanks for the hug - it worked I logged in today and got a skill point on my second combine hehe. I think I'll try those holy cakes now, as Im out of hero parts.

I did MTP from 220ish to 250 with some PoP baking thrown in. It was a total pain in the you-know-what but I didn't have to rely on rare dropped parts. All bought from merchants. Also, often there are people who sells sub combine items in bazaar. I bought countless stacks of Jum Jum Beer, Picnic Baskets and Cabbage needed for Jum Jum Salad. I do believe that it is harder to level using MTP but sure is cheaper and easy to find items. It's just a lot of clicking.

MTP from skill 191-250 with a troll SK who never cleared 220 INT - worst batch I had was 220 combines for a skill up.

Obadah truffles to 220(I think) then picnics all the way, my friend.

Feel better -- it took me six hours of MTP's to get from 201 to 202 baking, at 275 wisdom.

By the way, do as many griffon and anaconda melts as you possibly can. I had incredible skill up runs with those, and they are an incredibly quick combine.

JP drops for anaconda/griffon, if you forage you can leave with plant shoots as well.

Each is 1 ingredient in an otherwise vendor bought recipe to 250.

I'd still suggest HMP's to 220 at least. Just for the availablility of massive quantities of combines. Go to EK, AE there for 20 minutes, you have a stack of wolf meat, enough for 200 combines.

Then go to EW, mammoth meat drops pretty steadily there, might take a bit longer to get the mammoth stack. The rest is semantics.
