I have a low level character that I am using preatty much just for tradeskilling but he has horrible Wisdom/Intellect and Charisma. I've only gotten him up to
53 in brewing
22((trainer points+1)) in tailoring
24((trainer points+3)) in smithing so hes not very far along are those stats important enough to make a new trade skiller and start over? any and all advice greatly appreciated

Depends on what you want to master, really, and how much cash you can funnel to your trade mule from other characters. If you have an older character, just buy CHA and INT or WIS gear for your mule and load him up with your spare change.
CHA helps a bit with your materials costs, and may be overcome with shammy/'chanter buffs. Having a high INT or WIS (go with your highest natually occuring score) will help the frequency of skillups. However, neither is truly necessary. It's just a question of how much money do you want to spend.

If you are serious about making a tradeskill "mule", you'd probably want to go with an Enchanter (for imbuing, vials of mana, high int/char), a druid (quick porting, good soloing for farming, tracking for farming, high wis), a ranger (tracking, meleeing good for farming greens, decent wis), or possibly a necro (farming, high int). You will also want to take a look at the racial cultural armors available to your tradeskiller. If you want to do smithing, humans have some of the most versatile smithed items. If you want to do tailoring, Erudites, Wood Elves, or Halflings are probably the way to go. Anyway, good luck....

If I was making a tradeskill mule, I'd do two things.
1) Make your mule a druid, porting is SO important. Even with the PoP books all over the place, there's nothing like being stuck in OS or someplace after fishing and needing to get out somehow. Also, the high wis is a big bonus in starting out and you can up wis pretty easily for a druid.
2) Make a second mule, and make it an enchie. Get that one to 9th level or so, that will get you "enchant clay" and "meditate". Then you have a couple things. Your enchie will have high Charisma to buy supplies for you, and it can make enchanted clay bars which you can use or sell in the bazaar for easy money. If you're serious about it, you can level your enchie up to get the "XXX mana" vials too, which will save you HUGE money and time as you get higher with your chosen tradeskill.
What I ended up doing was all my tradeskill on my main char, wich is a Monk. HORRIBLE Int / Wis, really only good for Smithing since it's easy enough to get Strength gear for Monks. But take a look at my Magelo profile, there's an alternate profile there that shows my tradeskill gear. Alot of that is ALL / ALL gear. You may be able to get some ideas.
( Eventually a friend quit and gave me his druid... which has made ALL the difference in the world )
Anyway... that's my 2cp ;)

If you intend to do tradeskills either for fun or profit, a descent CHR is a must have - score yourself a pair of the CHR stiens and do the amulet quest - that's enough to even get a troll over 100 - toss in a pair of the golden cats eye bracelet and you've got enough CHR for best price from an indifferent merchant for under 100 plat.
As for INT/WIS - only raise whichever one is already the highest or whichever one is cheaper for you to raise if they are close - probobly INT depending on your class/race.
The higher the better of course, but you should atleast get to 150ish - that seems to be one of the "steps" that make a difference.
