Hmmm...I wish I had your skill up rate right about now lol. I average 1 skill up per 30 combines at the moment (With 255 wis) . Currently at 208 Baking skill.

Btw, congrats on getting 250 Baking :D

The griffon meat, what does it drop off of? more specifically which griffions? what zone? what lvl mobs are they?



i'm fixing to have to hunt snow griffs in EW for their eggs (coldain shawl quest #3), do they have griffion meat?

The anaconda meat and the griffon meat can be found in jaggedpine. Quite plentiful too. On average, I seem to get 1 per 3 kills

When I did shawl three, I must have killed a legion of those griffons in EW. I do not remember them dropping meat though.

When you do that part, have fun.... for the few eggs that I needed I killed those stupid Griffons for a week. Of course, that was when there was a 'shawl mania'...

Sure was. I didn't list it because I did it before the tradeskill patch which made skill ups easier (I didn't want to taint the above data set), but it took 97 griffon/anaconda melt combines to go from 191 to 192. So I definately had my doubts about committing myself to getting 250 in a tradeskill.

Looking back at my average though, I'm pretty happy with that compared to the other average values I've seen.

I hate to say it, but the shawl mania is still alive and thriving in Eastern Wastes. I’ve been killing snow griffins for a couple of weeks and the competition is often fierce. In fact, the best way to meet people in EW is to hunt the snow griffins. It’s a shame they don’t drop meat. I’d love to be gain baking skill as I’m hunting for those elusive eggs. I’m still trying to figure out how those creatures survive when 99% of them are male.
