A couple of editorial decisions I'm making (hey, if you don't like it, maintain your own list :D ):

1) In order to maintain some vestige of sanity, I'm setting cutoff levels for some tradeskills. Generally, this will depend on how many high-level artisans there are in a given craft. For example, for Jewelcrafting, where there are already 20+ people listed with 250 skill, I'm not inclined to include a submission at 180. I do plan to include anyone who actually has a (unmodified) skill level of OVER 200; if you've committed enough to a skill that you've elected to have it be your single skill over 200 (or to spend 3 AA's on it, should you be of a level to do so), I will include you, no matter how many others are already on that list. In general, if your submission compares reasonably well with the ones already on the list for that skill, it'll go in, but if you're significantly lower, probably not (except in the rarer skills, like tinkering, though for tinkering there's a much better list at the Tinkerer's Compendium...)

2) Regardless of the above, in those skills where race matters (cultural smithing, tailoring), I'll list at least the top couple submissions for any given race (for the appropriate races), regardless of skill level. I don't think this should be a problem, as I think we've already got at least a couple for each appropriate skill combination, except, it appears, troll smiths. (I may have missed one somewhere, but I think that's it...)

As to Gukta faction -- any idea just how bad your faction is? If you have Illusion: Froglok and that (plus Collaboration, if necessary) can get you non-KOS, raising your faction from there is easy -- turn in bone chips, rat ears, and fresh fish to Dar Collector Reokar. From what I've heard, the faction hit is large enough that you shouldn't need to get thousands of them, especially if your goal is just to get to non-KOS without illusion.

If you're still KOS, things may be hopeless, however. There are probably too many frogs on the way to Reokar to make pacifying or mezzing your way in a practical alternative, even if you could convince someone to come with you and invis you mid-trade.

Gukta faction is .. wrong. I usefrog illusion and it doesnt change faction. I use high elf and i get indifferent. I sue collaboration and get to amiable. and i am refused access to the rat ears bonoe chips fish quest. I have sent in a qeury and i report and petition and no one can answer me why.

Well, I plan on putting all my tradeskills above 220 so I can start working on the Aid Grimel quest. Since the quest starts with Smithing (and I absolutely abhor collecting shadowscream stuff), brewing and jewelcraft, I decided to start with those 3.

So, I got Jewelcraft to 250 first, because it was the easiest to raise...I love 2 component combines. I now got brewing to 248, so that's almost out of the way - just have to get it to 250 for my sanity's sake.

That leaves smithing...which I'm returning to shortly.

So in short, I'm now at 250 JC and 248 Brewing. Smithing is 198 and rising slowly.
