I think I attempted my Smithing Trophy at around 225 or so. Did 1/1. My potter was 250 skill and was 1/2, so who knows.../shrug

I'd guess with 250 skill there is about a 50% chance of success. It took two tries for me to get my Smithing trophy at 244 skill (with geerlock). It took my friend two tries to get his Tinkering trophy with 220 skill. Seems though that most people have found that the Pottery trophy fails more often than the first. Perhaps it's just coincidence though.

Personally with the expense of these items, I wouldn't suggest trying them to 235 +5% at least.

Succeeded at 224, plus gearlock. Jewler was 250, potter was 190, no fails.

As just posted in the other thread, second attempt success at 188 + geerlock. 226 strength, buffed with berserker strength from geerlock.

Do the trophy 5% and geerlock stack? so u get 10%?

I've asked and been told that they do not. I sometimes like to see things for myself, but I suppose I'd probably take the word of those who told me so on this one~

I have tried my GM trophy 6 times between skill lvls 230 +geerlock and 240 + geerlock with no luck yet. :cry: Grats to those of you with better luck.

No. Only the highest one will work according to Verant.

Hmm, on smithing I believe I gave Leo the pottery thingie for his at around 240 with Geerlok. He made it on the first try.

Our other chars did the following:

Pottery Skill 242 with Geerlok - 1st try
Jewelry Skill 250 with Geerlok - 3 tries
Tailoring Skill 242 with Geerlok - 3 tries

Like Xorshaik, I posted it in the other thread. But...

5 tries, 160 skill, no modifiers of any sort.
