Ethereal Silk Trivials

On EQtraders trivial list for "Ethereal Silk Swatch" and "Cured Ethereal Energy," it list two trivial information:



trivial >250; wt 2.5, small, all/all, stackable. Used in the Planar Armor Quest

trivial 212, skill-restricted combine, cannot attempt until skill 220 (or until modified 220 skill from using a +tailoring item)

I'm just a little confused as to which information is correct. Does it trivial at 212 or 250?

I can confirm that the trivial is indeed 212, as opposed to the additionally quoted 250. I believe they made these items trivial at 212, but with a required combine skill of 220 (real or geerlok adjusted) to eliminate the possibility that peeps would use this recipe for skilling up.

When PoP originally released the trivial on these was 250+ Verant realized that this was too easy of a path to 250 and lowered the trivial to 212. The 250+ section you quoted was obviously not updated when the patch changed them to 212.

Just a little hint on this, you can skillup from 210 (with geerlock) to 212 with these combines, not much, but as every tailor knows, every little bit helps.
