Ok, I am working on my tradeskills for my Thurg prayer shawl. I had a ton of practice points because I haven't done anything. So, I put 15 points into each of the tradeskills that I am capable of doing.. just cause I can.. hehe.
First I use the fishing grubs that I have foraged.. 170 combines later, skill of 93... not too bad...
Then I do baking, figure I would do the same number of combines, should get me close to the same... 170 combines later, skill of 110... not bad.
On to pottery.. do the same thing 170 combines.. skill of 53!! What?? I know they adjusted it... but c'mon. Oh well. Off to farm more muddites.
Smithing is now at 30, and tailoring is at 31. Not going to touch fletching and JC for a while.

For cheap smithing, use Chunk of condensed (whatever) + file + water.
Makes arrowheads, and doesnt trivial until 116. And all the components and results stack, saving precious space. About 200 chunks should get you to 116. GL.

You are farming muddites at 53 pottery?

If you have 10-20 plat to spend, you can get to 102ish.
A little bit more, and 122ish
Look up the recipe for Small Bowls, and Medium Bowls.

Oh, and get your WIS to 255 if you havent already. You *WILL* notice the difference.

Well, Lilosh, I guess I am very, very frugal... saving my plat for other things..
Besides, the muddites drop a nice variety of clays, plus some ores. I even got a couple silver bars, and one gold. Plus the occasional Evil eye, hoping to farm a few PBBs.

I was skilling on small and med bowls, plus made a couple of pots for baking ;)
