What exactly are all those elemental summoning spells called? Out of the several sites I've found that list them, almost every single one lists them differently. Magelo and Lucy, the two I'm inclined to trust the most, agree but only have the version "Spell: Summoning: Air/Earth/Fire/Water", which is presumably the one off the vendors, and don't list the researched versions.

So what exactly are the higher level summonings called? The spell name as it appears in your spell books is fine.

Er... if you mean the pets...

50+ Pets are all generally either "Vocarate: Blah" or "Greater Vocaration: Blah"

Don't ask me what the heck a Vocarate is, but hey. Mages have got 'em. ;)

The 61+ pets all have goofy names like "Servant of Ro" and "Rathe's Son" or whatever.

Pre50, well, just look at each spell level for the spell name that appears 4 times (Level 49 stuff is Greater Conjuration: Blah)

Look where? That's the problem, everywhere I look has them differently, except for the two truly reliable sources which don't have them at all. :shock:

That's why I'm asking for a mage to check and tell me straight from the source. :)

Casters Realm is probably the best source, as he said. It also has a seperate section for research, so you can see exactly which spells need to be researched, and which ones need to be purchased (sub 50, of course).
There is one thing worth mentioning - EVERY last magician spell level 16 and 20 can be purchased, although some can only be found on a vendor in OOT (considering the required components to make the level 16 spells, this is probably a good thing. shark skin is easy to come by, but some of the others are a lot more difficult - particularly if you botch a combine.). Also, the level 44 (I think) spells can apparently all be purchased in Katta Castellum.
To make matters worse, sometimes spells that are found anywhere you can buy mage spells are also listed in the research books. And occasionaly the spells receive slightly different names. The air elemental summon spells occasionally change the word Air to Mist, for example.

So...
Either buy the research books (they're written in common) and pull the information out that way, or look it up at Casters Realm in the research section. Don't bother to look at the spell descriptions, because if a spell is available on a vendor, the description won't always mention that its researcheable.

Exactly. I tried Caster's Realm, it and Mythrian Tower were my sources for the other three classes. But the names just seemed way too long, which becomes a problem when trying to make a recipe list for the site here.

But at any rate, I've realized (thanks to some nudging from the serverwide mage channel) that they are in Lucy, I just was running a silly search for them. I'm all set now, thanks mages :)

Erm...yeah. That's what I meant. Look in Lucy. Click the magician link. Look for the groups of four spells in each level. ^_^;
