View Full Version : A few things as the new forum launches

I can't promise we're going to have the most complete up-to-the-minute information on the site regarding spell research.

However, with most of the old resources for spell research a tad out-of-date, plus the need for spell research combines in the new LoY tailored robes, we're going to try giving spell research a home.

It'll take time to get information in place. Updates won't happen as frequently as you folks like, given everything else we're juggling. Most of this stuff will NOT be in the initial launch of the database, when it happens, but will be static pages until we get everything else settled in place and can add them in. But, it'll at least be a home where you know someone IS updating it now and then.

We'll update/edit this post with links as we get new pages in place.

For one thing, EQ trader members pay much more attention to trivial levels, so I am sure we will be able to confirm trivials for spell & practice combines and find the ones that are still missing!

For now there's the new LoY Research Drops Cross-Reference (http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/info/LoY_research_drops.htm) showing which drops can be used for which spells. Consider it in beta testing till I'm a little more sure that it's bug free :)

The Old (lvl 49 and under) Spell Research recipes are now up on the site here (http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/recipes_old_research.htm).

I welcome any thoughts on what sorts of introductory info should go up at the top, as well as the usual corrections and the like :)

Maevenniia? You posted some lovely info on practice research in one of the threads. Would you you be willing to put together some sort of formal writeup we could use on the site regarding practice research? :)
