Trivial for Lacquering Star Rubies Changed?

I was working on a few star ruby steins and I had worked my Jewel Craft skill up to 129 (the trivial is / was 128) quite awhile back so that the lacquering would be trivial to me so the RNG wouldn't eat up all my gems.

When I attempted the first combine I failed and I did not get the trivial message.

Does anyone know what the new trivial is, if indeed it has changed?

You never get a trivial message when you fail, and there is ALWAYS a chance to fail.

Always thought I got a trivial message when I failed at metal bits. I could be wrong.

Thanks for the info i'll try it out again and I know all too well that there is always a chance to fail. :cry:
