Did a search (maybe used wrong search verbage) so sorry if double posting. Quick question, does haste from potion stat with item, spell haste or does it take the place of one or the other? (or bard song)

I want to know this myself, since I've heard a variety of answers at different times on the bard boards.

If I had to guess, I'd say that the potions count as spell/song haste. If that's true, only the greatest haste will take effect.

The exception to that rule is the bard "stacking haste" songs, which don't follow the regular song haste logic. These are the Vah Shir line (Battlecry of the Vah Shir, Warsong of the Vah Shir, etc.) Since these hastes *DO* stack with enchanter VoG, shaman celerity, etc., I would expect them to also stack with the potion haste.

My husband has a 62 shaman with maxxed alchemy, so it might be time for me to gather cyclops eyes for him to do some tests.

SO if I am reading you right, the potions will count as the spell, then can have one weapon/one equipment if i rememeber correctly.

Basically I have my ranger epic, 40% haste and would want these potions unless they are 1000's of pp. Thats assuming I am reading you right in that that will stack with my Swiftwind.

I do believe you can have three hastes at any given time. One item, one song, and one spell. Potions count as spells.

Raccoo is correct...

but not all songs stack... just some of them.

Just to clear up what Raccoo said..

You can have one Item haste

You can have one Spell Or Song haste..

and then you can have one bard Special Stackable haste songs.
