Just spotted on Lucy

Just noticed that lucy.fnord.net found 2 new summoning spells on test this morning:-

unfold medicine bag and
unfold bearskin bag

So it looks like Alchemists will get collapsible tradeskill containers too.
(Someone asked for these in another thread but I can't remmeber which one).

Tinkering... just like any of the other collapsable gear.

And my guess is although it's a bag it will probably still require a "coiled spring" which think is the common ingredient in all the collapsable gear. Might want to make sure you get a couple coiled springs from PoI to hand to your tinkering buddy... my guess is they might be camped when the bag goes live.. or the price in the bazaar on the springs will go up.

WOOT!!!!!! I can finally get some bags that hold giant items besides my deluxe sewing kit when this goes live. Tired of having so little ability to get nice bags from having bearskin and medicine constantly on me.

They are tailored. I attempted two tonight ( failed one attempt ) at skill levle 162, trival. Recipe is one HQ bear pelt and one silver ribbon. I'm so glad we shaman can make our own bags, it's very fitting.

Well, I can make the folded medicine bags but I can't make the folded bearskin potion bag. I can not locate where silver cords are. I tried to combine 3 silver threads but that gets a DNC message.

Anyone know where I can find this or make this?

Maybe I wasn't clear. The recipe for the bag is Thick grizzly bearskin, 1 silver cord, 1 gold ribbon. Notice the silver cord part. :evil:

Like I said before, does anyone know where or how to obtain a silver cord?

I tried the skin, silver ribbon and gold ribbon, DNC.

Ahhh, wrong item in question. From the LoY Tailoring recipes page (http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/LoYrecipes.htm#tailor):

thick grizzly bear skin, silk cord, gold ribbon
Silk cords are one of the basic tailoring recipes (http://www.eqtraders.com/secrets/recipes_tailoring.htm#basics), same thing as is used in making the original bearskin potion bag.

Only problem with making em for sale is they're lore, but all the tinkered collapsible containers are as well. *shrug*

A friend bought the collapsable Medicine and Potion bag for my shaman as a gift the other night. 250p each on FV server.

Anyone else haveing a problem actually makeing potions with the unfolded bags. I made both myself was soooo happy but when I unfolded the medicine bag and put herbs in I got the DNC message. Hmmm I thought maybe had the wrong herbs so I destroyed the unfolded bag and bought a new medicine bag and the combine worked grrr :evil: I reported as a bug and went on with the combines and resold my medice bag and unfolded my bearskin potion bag put 10 potions in and grrr DNC message. Was soo mad I already had destroyed my old potion bag so I had to go find another pelt to make me one again.

Scheduled for the next patch is the fix to the collapsible bearskin potion bag and the collapsible medicine bag, which currently are only working for the new LoY alchemy.
There's more to the site than the message boards *grin* :)
