1) this thread is for trivial changes/updates only, in order to make it easier for us to handle updates in chunks.

2) PLEASE CHECK THE WEB SITE FIRST. Our apologies for "shouting", but there are folks consistently reporting information that has already been on the site for weeks.

3) Make sure that if you are reporting trivials on "old cultural" that you are VERY clear on exactly which one (chain, plate, enchanted, imbued, imbued/enchanted, etc.)

4) With the current workload (including building the database for the site), information from this thread will likely only get processed every week or so.

Ok, pauldrons ARE the mantle aka shoulder slot item. Anyway, just did the combines again, and both Imbued/Enchanted girdle and pauldrons are trivial ABOVE 216 (listed in the recipes section as trivial <=216). Also, there is a triv listing for both mantle and pauldrons.

Well my goal was to determine all of the unknown trivials for imbued field plate. The first unknown was visors which currently states a trivial of >219 and <=221. So I got my skill up to 218 on collars then switched over to visors to figure it out....

Turns out...

Imbued Field Plate Visors are TRIVIAL at 218.

Yes I was successful on the combine...Yes I double checked the language. It is trivial at 218. I guess it should now read trivial <=218 since I didn't think to try it at a lower skill level.

Phew. I hate making these things, to finish of my molds at 48 I made a couple more and gained 2 more points so I kept at it on these to find out what the trivial really is. Many stacks of metal bits later (and I REALLY hate metal bits) I found that I skilled up to 76 and then received the trivial message.

This was on Kane Bayle 28th December. It seems this hasn't changed at all

smithing mule had 255 wis from gear, human druid, without kei, and starting money was 8000 pp. Bought from baz all padding at up to 25 pp a padding and bought individual hides and spiderling silks threads for up to 10pp each. This includes raising tailoring on woven mandrake to 76 for making my own padding. Ending money was 3245 pp. Imbued all my own emeralds, used main for pottery and brewing combines. Enchanted my own silver bars on an enchanter mule.

Shortened spears trivial at 19.
At a skill of 19, the rapier successfully sharpened and did NOT give a trivial message, so I'm guessing they trivial at 20.
I failed to sharpen a warhammer, but it increased my skill from 19 to 20, and THEN gave me a trivial at 20.

Rusty Bastard Sword successfully sharpened at 25 WITH trivial message. (Currently listed as >24)


And Rusty Morning Stars are at least >21 <=24. Still working on those.

brick is made by casting the level 49 enchant steel spell on a large brick of high quality ore

I performed this combine with 111 Smithing and it was trival. Hope this helps hammer down the range further. I did it with a Geerlock Not sure if that matters.(110+Geerlock) Do you need a SS?

A guildmate of mine skilled up on making brellium chain jointings and the trivial appeares to be exactly 107.
