Recipes? Even just the name of the raid drop needed, maybe? I know some have appeared in game already but there are no recipes on alla's either.

The older raid dropped ones are (in order, from weakest to strongest) Chronal, Discordant, Bazu, and Last Blood. With the launch of SoF, three more were added: Serpent's, Sunshard, and Faycite.

The tradable (and tradeskill-made) ones are from Omens zones; they're an ultra-rare drop from pretty much anywhere. The ones that fit in the armors are Kyanite, Titanite, Sodalite, and Tourmaline, I believe. (There may be others that fit in the type 12 slots on the armors, but I don't remember them off-hand.)

There's also some augs you can buy from the DoN camps for Radiant or Ebon Crystals that will fit in type 12 slots.

All of the OoW player made augs will fit in type 12 slots. A few are just limited to specific slots.

Folks,

I just finished making my main a full set of Elegant armor. But I don't raid much, so I only have one or two type 12 augs. Are there any tradeable or fairly easily-obtainable type 12's that I can get to put in those pieces, even if they are junk? ;) I'd just like SOMETHING in them, if possible. Would DoN augs be my best bet? Anything I might be able to buy in the bazaar?

DoN augs would definitely be your best be if you're not raiding. It'll cost you quite a bit of crystals to fill in all your slots, but these days what else are you going to use them on?

There are a few new slot 12's that they fixed with todays patch. But I have no idea if they are dropped or player made.

I use this link every day. If you know the name, or even part of the name of what you're looking for, you can usually find it here, (if it's related to tradeskills). Apetite, Citrine, Tourmaline, etc. are all made by shamans and rogues if they have their skills up to par.

The book was fairly straightforward, and you have to buy it anyway since it's part of the combine. It was something like book + ore + loam? + purified mana + faycite water + water flask?.
