Advanced poison vials and LQ cat pelts ... why not?

Not being completely familiar with every one of the recipies for the advanced poison vial I bought several stacks of LQ cat pelts, (along with several other pelts/skins that I knew worked), only to discover that they are a DNC. :( However LQ bear skins, Lion skins and wolf skins DO combine. Is this an oversight in the recipies that can be fixed, or is there logic involved that I'm not aware of?

Its not a huge deal, as I'm only out a few plat :hurt::cry: but I had seen several LQ pelts/skins on the list when I was last on the potter wheel so I assumed, (yea I know a$$, you, me, :o etc), that LQ cat pelts were there. When I discovered this was NOT the case I was naturally curious? :confused:

LQ cat pelt has never worked in poison combine to my knowledge.

I think zombie skin also works and they tended to be more common and cheaper than most other pelts.

I wasn't saying it was broken, just that it seemed a bit inconsistent to me.

I had always used zombie skins before, which is partly the reason I wasnt aware that the LQ cat didn't work. Unfortunately, for some reason there seems to be a shortage of zombie skins and I wasnt up for farming right then, so went the "easier" route of buying other skins/pelts I thought would work.

Try using Crows Special Brew (http://www.eqtraders.com/search/reverse_recipe_search.php?item=12829&menustr=010000000000) instead. It's vendor sold, and usually cheaper than buying the dropped components to make poison vials.

I always used crows brew too. I remember Crow not having much of it available in Qeynos though unless that was changed.

Can get Crow's Special Brew in Abysmal Sea (and think it made its way to Crescent Reach as well).
