I think in the end these will turn to "various mobs various zone" and what players will be better at spending their time on is "what level range do these drop on" For now I will not be releasing any more information that it IS in level ranges.

When I made my changes to the rate... I checked... and well... 1376 zones are possible dropping spots for 1 or more of these :) (There are crossover zones where 2 or even three of the types can drop, though sometimes those will be on mobs you do not normally kill, so would not count... the global loot system is not very picky about where it puts things)

If you want to discuss this and not just put in data on it, please start a thread in say general :)

For the moment, you will find a thread in this forum called "Consolidated Sunshard Drop Info" which has mixed information that we've received so far. I've made a bit of a mess out of the thread (right now unless you view your forums in threaded mode, it won't make an ounce of sense!!) I am in the process of straightening it out and while I'm doing that... that thread is locked, then it will moved to Database Updated Completed.

Edit: That process is now done. A summary of the drops to date has been posted in the General Discussion forum and that is where you should be discussing additional drops if you don't have complete information.

If you *do* have COMPLETE information on a new drop, you can REPLY TO THIS THREAD.

BE SURE to include in each post or reply:

Which size of sunshard dropped... dust, pebble, ore.
Full Name of Mob
Zone
Most importantly... THE LEVEL of the mob.

An informative post about setting up a macro to record appropriate drop information is located at:

Thanks very much for your patience and help!

Cheers,

Found Sunshard Pebbles drop from "a wharf rat", level 50-52 in Barren Coast. Not common but more frequently than I've found elsewhere so far.
