PoP imbune spells

Just curious, are these bought or a result of turning in parchments? If bought, who from? My wife, a chanter, has turned in a lot of parchments and is yet to see an imbune spell.

It used to be that you got the PoP imbue spells by giving the parchments to another NPC, but that changed a while back.

Now you get the spells by doing a combine.

Could I get a little clarification on one of the PoP combine items. For example, the Iron Amulet of Unseen Horror.

I have the Enchanted Brick of Nightmare Iron and the Midnight Stone. That's pretty straightforward.

It's the Black Diamond part that throws me. First, I prance over to NFP and get the Spell imbue diamond. I then put a raw diamond, this new spell, and some nightmare mephit blood in my Planar Jeweller's Kit and it gives me Spell Imbue Nightmare. Am I right, so far?

I know that either a 62 chanter or a 62 necro use the Imbue Nightmare spell. But how does the Black Diamond of Nightmares come into existance? I've seen the Black Diamond of Nightmares on the Torv server in the bazaar for 2,500 pp, so I know it's tradeable and not lore.

Yup you are right.

To make the black diamond of nightmare just cast the spell Imbue Nightmate and have 1 raw diamond and 1 nightmare mephit blood like you would for any vial spell with vial and gems... :)

Ah, so the raw diamond and the mephit blood doesn't disappear after the first combining?

That breaks the code. Much obliged.

Yes, they do disappear. If you need the spell as well as a black diamond, you will need two raw diamonds and two bloods.
