Having finished my 68 DoDH spell to get Hail of Arrows (AE for Rangers) I decided to try to farm some yttrium. I went to The Deep, and killed 41 of various horrors, plus a few others. Not one brick of yttrium. Is this just bad luck? Or could this be one of those drop table bugs resulting from the patch? I did not cross the bridge. Some were the young horrors (that I think do not drop bricks) but most were not that I noticed. What kind of drop rate should I expect normally?

They only drop (as far as I've found) from "Thought Horror"s...that is to say, mobs with "Thought Horror" in the name. As far as I know, only mobs on the Ssra side of the bridge fit that criteria. Out of 41 horrors, you should see a few bricks...but it would certainly be possible to not see any. I'd *guess* about 8 in that many mobs.

when i farmed my 800 bricks of the ore for tinkering skill ups i went to the deep, across the invisible bridge and went all the way left to where a tunnel opens. I would clear that area and move my way in and clear both paths that forked up that path a bit. All said i would clear 20 mobs then run back to the tunnel opening and med till respawns. Averaged a stack of ore every 1.5 hours

On the far side of the bridge in the "loop" and the wand dropper camp I can usually manage about a stack an hour cleaning everything up over there. It ends up being about 1 brick per 6 or 7 mobs.

Definitely past the invis bridge. If you haven't camped your shrink wand already you can center your lap on Xitcotlhardtospell and kill two birds with one stone.
