If you had to start all your tradeskills over, knowning what you know now and the possibility of some changes in Feb, what tradeskill would you GM first and why?

What skill seems to be the one you use most often? (Yes, personal choice and depends on play style - I understand all that).

Are you quite mad? You think I'd do it again?!

If I had to, I'd re-roll a druid or a ranger and get 300 Fletching just as fast as I could, before it gets nurfed.

As usual, its a matter of reading between the lines of stuff said by Devs such as N'greth to try work out whats coming in Feb. Based on that, here's my predictions:-

- Karana Fletching recipies nurfed (prob 95%)
- New Fletching recipies with 300+ triv (prob 98%)
- Huge reorganisation of drops for Cultural DoN armour, from Expert to GM. All should find the drops required for their cultural armour as easy (or as difficult) to get (80%)
- Coarse Silk drop rates massively increased, possibly by making them drop from other expansions than DoN (prob 70%)
- New brewing recipies, with a brewing equivalent for baking's Bristlebane Party Platter (prob 40%)
- New tiered tradeskill trophy, possibly merging all trophies into one item, with different effects depending on whether all tradeskills at 200, 250, or 300 (prob 65%)
- New pottery recipies, this follows from principle that its a tradeskill due for 'a little loving' (prob 30%)
- Tradeskill Cap increased to 350 (low probability. Tradeskill caps seem to increase every 2 years, so next one not due yet)
- Lots of new recipies with trivs of 400+

Main prediction - Fletching and Pottery will be the main recipients of new recipies for this expansion

If I were starting a new TS character and wasn't going for the Coldain Shawls I'd still do brewing first.

It's fast, easy and cheap to 248 (all storebought, search threads started by me for method, takes under 1000 plat and 5 hours total) and then you have a good shot at Corker for cheap bags. (Plus the trophy pretty much insures "best prices" with every vendor while you have it equiped.)

Hard part if finding a gnome with enough tinker skill to make the item for the trophy.

Otherwise... knowing what I know now? I'd start a Shaman and get Alchemy/Smithing/Jewelcraft up with masteries and salvage. (I've just been pricing a Radiant Tormuline of Pure Sight... ouch.) On that one Jewelcraft would be first (storebought and fast, plus trophy component is cheap) and smithing / alchemy as I could.
