In trying to get the Mino Hero to spawn so I can rip his shackle free from his cold wrist. No one else in the zone, so I proceed to happily let my warder slaughter any unfortunate elemental and brownie that I could see. I manage to get a few swirling mists and oxides.

I make an offer on the tradeskills channel and no one wanted them. I'm not talking auctioning them off. Its the Test server, there isn't an economy for selling (not as much as the proddies who keep coming in and trying to sell when their servers are down, would wish it could be.) I don't bother, if I have it I'll offer it up to whomever needs it..

Either they were all doing the morning zombie routine (i.e. just waking up and eating cereal), in battle (though I made the request more than once), or they were all set for traders..

Bleh, I wonder if I would have gotten a response if I had offered BD's and Acrylia (even if it would have been cruel.).

Welp, I still have them, I'm hoping someone from Test will see this and actually want them. You'll see me offer them when I'm on.

Yeah, its like that on test. Theres 2 people who make the Steins for the PotC quest. Neither need Iron Oxides.
People who do teh usual prod newb thing of farming low end stuff and sell em to make money to the tradeskillers dont really get very far on Test.
Theres just not enough demant and theres VERY few new Tradeskillers that are actively skilling up at any point (cept for the rare few workin on 8th shawl, and then they are just tryin to get their skill up high enough for the attempts and then abandon tradeskills).

Even high end trade skill stuff is mostly worthless. I have Razorfiend Talons out the wazoo. Free to anyone who wants. Ive given away Metallic liquid and found it on npc merchants in PoK. Any desperately needed tradeskill items i find like Windstones ill sell on my trader for whatever i paid off of the npc merchant i bought em for. (only have 1 person that buys em that i know of)

Test is weird.

Test always seems like a <i>community</i>. Prod servers are a <i>city</i>.

Whenever I've gone to test, I've always been amazed by the friendliness of the people. If I were starting out again (and could force friends to come with :P ) I'd probably do test.

Keep in mind, I wasn't trying to sell.. They just needed to let me know where to meet them to give them the items.. Ah well.. I still have them, not sure what to do with them, I already have the solistice earring and a potc spell I can't seem to give away.

I guess I can make a druid alt and not worry about having to get that spell.

funny story, last I heard Xanthe was still working on gettin 60 so she could scribe the spell that she was the first to discover
