Would love to make one, but we know how hard getting those metallic liquids are. And now many groups are extremely reluctant to let anyone but meleers role on them because they think it's for a "melee ring". Bah!

Anyway, before I try this, anyone have a feel for the failure rate at 250?

If they try and call it a melee ring because of the hp, just call it a caster ring because it has mana. Then make a compromise and all roll :p

No idea on the fail rates though, as im only 197 atm :)

All the PoP-Focus Items seem relatively easy to make ... At 241+GM tool, i have failed one out of ~20 combines so far ... including one Xegony-Totem ( only failure was on a Gavel of Justice ).

Another note is that they dont sell very well even at 45k which they are priced at on xegony, really cant go any lower or else I would lose money due to failures. I guess once the price of Metallic liquids drop the price may go down some but in my opinion this is a decent price for the effect and stats.

I've found that there's about a 60% success rate on planar pottery items, overall, with a sample of about 30.

I will agree with Zephaus on this. I have attempted about 20 POP items.

9 successes for 12 tries on disease items
3 for 6 valor items (yea those failures hurt)
0 for 1 storms
1 for 1 war

I know i did additional combines on the fly for friends and guild mates but these are the ones i tracked.

I know its a bit off topic, but on the disease ones, which mobs drop the putrid ooze? Couldnt find it on the site when i was compiling my personal lists.
