ogre gm smith on karana

Theres finally an ogre smith for cultural on karana. Got to 240 on the 7th (252 with geer) made first few combines that nite. Like to give alot of thanks to >THE MIGHTY TUKGAR< ( THE WISE THORTHON) { THE BRUTAL FATTAN} and their alts for relentlessly slaughtering countless mobs for the cause. 15 combines: 3 skill-ups (213)
20 combines: 3 " (216)
20 combines: 1 " (217)
22 combines: 3 " (220 yay!)
32 combines: 1 " (221)
30 combines: 4 " (225)
14 combines: 0 "
10 combines (Mistletoe Cutting Sickle): 0 skill-ups (4 success though)
16 combines: 1 " (226 finally)
12 combines: 1 " (227)
40 combines: 1 " (228) yuck :(
11 combines: 2 " (230 yay!!)
7 combines (MCS): 1 " (231)
2 combines (cultural): 0 " (2 failures, sorry Croute...)
8 combines: 3 " (234)
22 combines: 1 " (235)
23 combines: 1 " (236)
12 combines: 1 " (237)
25 combines: 0 " ...
23 combines: 2 " (239) - trophy successul at first try:)
5 combines: 1" (240!)

30 skill-ups in about 380 combines (did not count in the above list the occasional acrylia plate)... average is 1 skill up every 13 combines... not bad )

(all smithing done with 260 str, I waited for the 61 shaman pet to help farming, and it does help)

(all farming done alone, except occasional help form guildmates... bard is king to pull huge swarms of greenies :p)

from 186 to 202 took 300 humming orbs and 600 swirling shadows only tried for boors trival at 239. 202 to 239 still boots 686 humming orbs and 1372 swirling shadows took 11 tries to 240. so total from 186 to 240 997 of each substance and 1994 swirling shadows. The key control hollowshade war. rl people 4 who farmed (me and tuk play on 2 systems so 6 toons) In 4 days farmed 1400 swirling shadows nonstop around the clock in twlight and shadeweaver. In hollowshade worked with another new gm smith svenzyr (dwarf) to control war in hollowshade worked well because we play on different time frames. after 220 it becomes much easier to skill svenzyr told me this and i agree completely waiting on mimoza reply cause hopefully the same. from 202 to 220 about 6 points per 100 combines. Then down to about 1 every 10 combines after 220. hope this helps
