Dulak's Harbour fishing

i saw some fish listed for Dulak, went in the zone, spent like 1 hour there

and never found any fishing spot

how do you access the +2252 -821 spot listed? i have walls everywhere over ~+1k north except at the zone in to the mines...

Yeah, I had trouble finding a place to fish in Dulak yesterday as well.

After climbing on the rocks for a while, I was finally able to get down to the waterline, and found out that it isn't water, its water colored ground. :roll:

I was also unable to get to the listed /loc, but there seem to be caves down past the wall there, so maybe the fishing spot is down there somehow. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way down into the caves. Does anyone know how to get into them?

There is a string of rocks leading away from the lighthouse island over towards one of the zoneline walls, and if you jump down into the water, you can clamber up onto those rocks and fish. Didn't realize this was such an issue, or I'd have gotten a /loc. There is also a beach across the water where there are some 40-ish mobs, but if you can invis or IVU, you should be able to avoid about half of them.... I recommend the lighthouse rocks.

And take a forager with you. Hermit crabs are lovely bait!

There is a bar in Dulag where you can fish. You will need invis to get there, but once inside you can stand on the back wall and fish in the hole in the floor safely, without invis. The entrance to the bar looks like a shark's mouth or something like that, anyway. Hope this helps :P

I added the following to the bottom of the zone-specfic fish listings page the other day, which may help you out a tad:


**There are two fishable spots in all of Dulak. One is located in a bar, where you can fish through a hole in the ground, but you will be surrounded by a lot of agro mobs. The second one is at 2252, -821. Invis up after you zone in from Gunthak, turn left at the first corner, and instead of following the wall around, head straight ahead into the wall to find a hidden tunnel. Run down the tunnel (nothing seems to see invis along the way, thankfully), over a bridge and other fun stuff. If you have an option to turn right or go straight, go straight. Eventually you'll come to a waterfall, that will lead down to a rectangular pool. You'll find a safe spot with your back to the wall that will allow you to fish in relative safety even once invis drops. Just watch the mob placement carefully to find the right spot.

I use the shark tank, personally. A steady supply of fish, a steady supply of tavern wenches, even a bartender and cook, what more can you ask for?

After making that gutcheck run with invis, however, I can't seem to find any safe spot that I can fish from (something other than land shark of course). There are 2 pools and each has a mob "near" each of the 4 sides.

Is the safe spot a specific place or does it change based upon mob placement?
