Elemental plane item prices

Anyone selling the elemental plane pottery items yet? What would be a fair price to charge for them? The incense burner looks awesome, first one I make will be for me.

Level 3 focus items are ungodly expensive on Terris still, I would imagine these would be even more.

White dragonscale cloak - 40k
Obulus death shroud - 20k

Maybe these items would go in to 50k range?

3 of the fire ID 4 items sold for 80k in less then 3 hours, and the people that bought thought they were getting a good deal. Your mileage may vary.

My experience as a vendor in the bazaar is people won't pay as much for a crafted item as for a dropped item, especially a rare dropped item (like the white dragonscale cloak - well, its rare on my server). The components are rare, but not that rare, and a dedicated person could get what they need with reasonable effort.

As an enchanter, I absolutely love a few of these items, they're huge!

But as a tradeskiller/vendor, it does me no good if they are priced too high and don't sell for a week. I'd rather sell 1 a day for a modest amount than 1 a week for a high amount.

With the PoP stuff, I usually start with a high price, give it a few days, and then gradually drop it until I find the point where they sell, but aren't priced so low that they are gobbled up too fast.

Edit: I haven't done the elemental stuff yet myself, but was an early maker of the lower planes stuff. Your milage may vary.

Well, the WDS is still going for close to 70k on E.marr, and since I won't be raiding PoF anytime soon, I excpect to have to pay through the nose for PoF drops if I ever get any.

That said, I was planning on 200k for Incense Burners to start. I think anything less than 100k, you're selling yourself short.

wow. Looks like I was aiming a little low. Saw some fire mephit blood for sale - 10k each. Guess these will be a little more than I planned.

The components are rare, but not that rare, and a dedicated person could get what they need with reasonable effort.

Considering that most servers will only have 1 or 2 guilds in Elemental Planes for the next few months, No a dedicated person could NOT get these items unless they are in one of the top guilds on the server or know a way to buy them from that guild.

I've already been offered 150-200k for some of the focus items. But I've got so many to make for guild that I don't expect to have any for sale to non-guild for a long time.

There's the key, unless your guild is very lenient on using guild resources to make a profit, most of these items will stay within the guild that is actually farming the items until everyone that needs focus items has them.
