Special Catches

Once upon a time (about a year ago I think) I would *swear* I read somewhere that certain armor was occasionally causght in certain places when fishing.

Unfortunately, that's all I can recall, except it seems to me it was Kunark-related.

Does anyone have any idea?

most of those "specials" were either database errors on SONY's end or CLIENT exploit which has been terminated with extreme prejudice by SONY.

So about the only armor you're going to dredge up fishing is a "tattered cloth sandle" and maybe some loose scales in Cabilis that you can quest into a hat (Chesters Coif)

I had recalled someone starting a rumor a while ago on the Alakazam boards about giving one of the OoT cyclop or seafurries something to get a "magical" fishingrod which would let you catch armor, but I'm pretty sure that was debunked.
