:( :x
was traversing through my inventory (i usually have 6 varying types of weight reducing containers and my medicine bag, leaving slot 8 open for switching armor or clikable items or whatnot) and thought to myself that it sucks that my medicine bag takes up a slot and only has 6 container slots. Than i thought "HEY!!!! there are collapsed containers for every other skill(except smithing), i wonder if alchemy has one!" i checked around and they just dont exsist. Why cant we have collapseable containers too?? is that so wrong go gove to a skill that has been screwed over for 3 years?

Pottery - there are collapsible mortar and pestles, which I use a LOT in making celestial essences and white lead for tunare idols.

CE is not pottery.
CE is almost every tradeskill. Baking, Pottery, Smithing, Tailoring, and Probably even Brewing.

Celestial Elixirs are definately used in brewing, but mostly as a side-show of smithing (Blue diamond cultural armors need CE's to brew celestial elixirs).

If you want to take shots at a GM trophy (trivial in the 270+ range) with 205 skill, at some 4500pp a shot, be my guest.
It would be nice if we got a nice trophy out of it tho.
Grandmaster's Medicine Bag
10 slot, large, 100% WR
Can do single potion combines, and 5/10 potion squishes inside.
Being a container, you couldn't equip it, so having stats on it would be pointless, as would the right click for the WR bag that the other GM trophies have. So, we make the trophy itself WR...and then give us a break by freeing up 2 bank/inventory slots previously taken up by the bearskin bag and medicine bag by having this one do both.
Reduce the trivial to 230-240 so it is roughly the same difficulty as other trophies at 250 skill, and that would be a nice thing to make attempts for.

I like that idea and the cost would be well worth it to me as long as the slots where giant

On the off chance that Yakatzima sees the thread, large slots are quite realistic.
Being GM in alchemy in no way precludes you from having a GM trophy from one of the more conventional tradeskills (don't even have to spend AA points in new tanaan mastery), and that gives you access to the 10 slot giant 100% WR GM Carry-all. I think that having 2 full WR with giant slots would be something that VI wouldn't allow, and they'd toss the entire idea because of it.
Large slots hold like 95% of the items in the game...and most of the giant sized ones are 2H weapons which shamans won't be owning anyway. Get a tinker bag for the miniscule handful of items you might want to put in there, or GM jewelcraft/brewing and get a GM Carry-all bag to hold them.

CE's may be used in a lot of things but I use them every **** time I sit down to pot. I take CE materials and click CE's while waiting for raids to finish buffing and get their act together. I click CE's while waiting for rez effects to wear off. Click click click.
Gahhhh.
I still want a collapsable alchemy and medicine bag. Every other /portable/ tradeskill has at least one collapsable container. Even fishing, go figure. "I have a desperate need to make tackle on the road! Yeah!"
I just hate buying and selling that silly little 6 slot bag. I have collapsable mixing bowl, mortar and pestle, spit, and jewelry bag. I love them all to pieces. More please!

Well it's not the first time we have been shafted :P
What I usually end up doing is destroying the medicine bag after making a batch of potions then buying a new one the next time around. The cost is minimal compared to the component cost of Alchemy potions.
Which is another subject altogether. Those prices really need to come down to make our products more marketable. People are willing to pay a higher price for SoW potions but not for something such as Cohesion or Stability. Not when they can get casted buffs free.

Rogues can do this, no?

GM carry-all's are lore, else a single GM trophy would let you carry 16 of them.
With the alchemy bag BEING the trophy, it would create a second (well, the possibility of a second, you'd still need to GM a "normal" tradeskill to get the carry-all) 100% WR bag, a unique advantage to high skill shamans. That's what I don't see VI allowing. So, we go with large slots to put some balance into it.
Maybe drop the WR down to 80-85%. Still useful, without being considered broken. I'd like it just to free up bank space so I could use real containers in there instead of wasting slots with bearskin+alchemy bags.
