I just made a big batch of wedding cakes a couple days ago for a guild wedding and at a skill of 162 they still were not trivial......I will double check tonight and repost, but I don't think the above person is correct.

My apologies...I must not have been using my brain the other night...went back ingame and my baking skill was 162 and tried making a wedding cake and you are correct, it is trivial at 162. Sorry for the mix-up on my part. :P .....get it....mix-up.....as in mixing bowl........its a baking pun.....come on guys, thats FUNNY!!!! :?

Made some Buttered Crawdads recently, and they were trivial for me at a skill of 209. That was the only level I've made them at though, so not sure on the exact trivial.

Pickled Siren exact trivial is 75. I had a bunch of siren meat but sadly it trivialed before I used much of it.

I was on a roll, made tons of pies except I was hoping to make it to 226 before it got trivial.... Turns out at 193 I can no longer gain skill points by making these!!!! :shock:

Anyone have the same problem? now i have to figure out what to make next

You are incorrect.


I would suggest you double check your ingrediants. Unless you can provide me with a screenshot of you at 193 Baking, with a message onscreen saying "You can no longer raise your skill from making this item".

Found the trivial for Orange Flavored Cod.. it's 102

Skilled up a bit more and tried some Chocolate Marr Cherries.. They are not trivial yet at 124 skill.. so it's between 125 and 126 skill.. need to go get more Cherries and I'll try to narrow it down..

Got more cherries.. As it turns out, they are trivial at 128.. got to 127 making them, got an improve to 128 and they turned trivial..

Went to check for a trivial on Caynar Nut Stuffed Trout, but had gotten too into the Cherries.. Not sure when they go trivial exactly, but they're already trivial at skill 129.. Which narrows it down some..

Chocolate Marr Cherries are listed in 2 places on the baking page - once in the main listing, and once under quest recipes. Problem is that the main listing says the trivial for them is 128, while the quest recipe section says it's somewhere between 120 and 126. Seeing as how 128 isn't in the 120-126 range, maybe someone remembers which trivial entry is correct and can update the incorrect one?

Been over to Dulak and done some fishing so have tried out some of the other LoY receipes. I can report that Abalone Steaks and Sea Cucumber soup are both trivial to me with baking skill 148. So, to be clear, trivial on these items must be less than or equal to 148.

Yes, I am having the same problem as well. I am not joking when I say I have done well over 80+ combines with FULL stat buffs including KEI, HOS, Geerlok, Bard Songs (I being a bard that is) and not one skill point increase. Maybe this is the Baking version of "Hell level" but I have 600 Halas pies LEFT OVER from selling the skill-point-less combines in the bazaar.... No I don't think this is the Trival but I think it should be brought up in further discussions.

Update: did another 78 combines of Hala's pies and still no skill up from 193 (counting by Sage Leafs stacks that have been used up)

Update: I decided to make a few Griffon melts cause I founds some griffon meat on a jagged pine vendor today. my first combine brought my baking skill to 194. OMG! the first combine? #%^#$%^#
since then, another 30 Halas pies combine brought me to 195. (out of Halas Baking Hell)

Aye, this should be a fishing recipe, so I'm not sure how it ended up in the baking trivials. It's *lovely* to know of another source of the high quality fish bones, though, as I'd rather fish there than in SG, regardless of how "safe" the ledge is for fishing. ;) I've added it to the fishing recipes page.

I don't understand a thing ... my baking is actually at 191 , and when i make halas meat pie (said to be trivial at 226) it tells me that i can't longer advance my skill by making these... Did trivials changed ? :?
