Just me or did someone jingle his bells a bit too hard? I didn't do anything wrong but yet I get yelled at for not holding the items during a negotiation of price I refused? hehe I love when 4 year olds learn to login EQ.

ok, granted people can be idiots, and they make you wonder how they're getting the RL money to pay for EQ. But it's not the greatest thing to specifically indirectly put them off like that.

There was a 'guildwar' (or tried to be, /guildwar is broken) between a couple of guilds on the same team on my server, and you would see chanters from both /auc'ing like this:

WTS Kei 50p same team, 100p other teams, 200p [opposing guild]s.

Frankly I thought it was childish. Yes it got the point across, but in the long run it just made the chanters involved look immature and petty. I mean, who were they showing off to? They were showing a same-team conflict off in a very visible way to the entire rest of the server. And what was it supposed to accomplish?

Yes, mean people suck. But some ways of dealing with them are just not.... cool. You know?

I've seen similar happen, and there's nothing wrong with it.

He made an offer, you refused. (and that's your right to do so).

To bad for him if you sold one while he was dithering around. He didn't ask you to hold them for a minute or two. (which you could also refuse to do, and that's your right to do so.)

          I'm all for it.

Of course, the second auction probably was a bit over the top, despite the fact that I found it amusing. *shrug*

          Congrats on the skill up!
