So, off we go to Veksar.
I managed to finish SCF3 for my SK (AA #35), then ding my shaman over to 64, THEN find most of his 64 spells for less than 20K (talisman of alacrity - group haste - being the big one, don't have tiny terror which is the only one I'd really want that I didn't find), including a 63 spell I hadn't seen, THEN...
THEN
THEN
to top it all off, I find shroud of Chaos which is a 63 SK spell when I NEVER NEVER NEVER see the SK spectral turn in spells for sale.
Now...
With shroud of Chaos I get a 65 point lifetap proc (and I proc a lot with ~250 dex). But wait, I have soul abrasion 1 which makes it a 97 point proc. BUT WAIT, I have SCF3 which means I can crit this proc for 184 points. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL, with theft of life 1 I can get an exceptional heal on a crit proc and heal myself for 368 points of damage. On a proc.
Crit lifetaps now run in the 700s, and an exceptional heal on a crit lifetap would be a 1400-1500 point heal. Shamans everywhere are crying.
Pretty decent night's work.
