Not exactly a new topic, but since this is the place where tradeskillers scream briefly before heading back to their respective forges/ovens/kilns, I will do the same, then start again.
Seventh Coldain Shawl, running along nicely, 164 Brewing skill and confidence that Sacred Velium Ink will not be a problem.
Nope.
Failure.
Well, I was above the Trivial, but below the 95 percentile and these things do happen (well, once I calmed down from the thought of having to get the kromrif blood again).
Next day (that would be today), luck is with me and my favourite Rogue is online, willing to do what he does best (namely acquire me some more kromrif blood). My fishing is reasonably successful, and just in case, I briefly mix some Faydwer Shakers to bring my Brewing up to 166, one point above the 95 percentile mark.
And life is good. I failed once, but the odds of that happening again are pretty slim, so I step up to the brewing barrel and toss the pieces in.
Nope.
Failure.
Rolling a one on a twenty sided die twice in two days.
Some days, one just has to wonder.
